PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin shaver which adequately shaves keratin out of the skin and gives an adequate massage effect on the skin by firing starting powders of alumina and silica as the major ingredients, pressing them into a plate shape and firing it into the final product. SOLUTION: Powder 2 is prepared by firing starting powders of alumina and silica as the major ingredients at 1680 deg.C, its composition being represented almost perfectly by crystalline mullite. It is hard and resistant to mechanical impacts, and, being spherical, high in fluidity and densely packed. The powder 2 is mixed with adhesives and dispersant, and kneaded at 3-4atm until it becomes like spaghetti. It is further kneaded at 80-90 deg.C and around 1atm in a flow of hot wind in order to deposit the adhesives over each particle of the powder 2 and then cooled at 6-8atm. The powder thus prepared is pressed into a given solid shape, which is dried at around 60 deg.C and 6atm to remove moisture and fired and around 1280 deg.C and 24atm to form into the final product. |
