摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a total length by providing a first and a second magnetostrictive members provided inside the first and the second hole parts of a base body and a restriction means brought into contact with one end side outside the first magnetostrictive member and forming constitution in which an actuator stroke amounts to the elongation total of both magnetostrictive members. SOLUTION: A first hole part 3a in which a first super-magnetostrictive member 1 is internally provided in one end surface of a tube 3 and a second hole part 3b in which a second super-magnetostrictive member 2 is internally provided in the other surface thereof are formed in parallel with each other. When a magnetic field is applied to the super- magnetostrictive members 1, 2 to generate elongation, a tube 3 is moved so far as the elongation of the super-magnetostrictive member 1 in the direction opposite to a fixing wall 4 by the elongation of the super-magnetostrictive member 1. Further, the super-magnetostrictive member 2 is moved so far as the elongation of the super-magnetostrictive member 1 in the direction opposite to the fixing wall 4 together with the tube 3, and the same elongation as that of the super-magnetostrictive member 1 is also generated in the super-magnetostrictive member 2, and the direction is shown by an arrow A2. Accordingly, the stroke of an actuator amounts to the total of the elongation of the super-magnetostrictive members 1, 2. Therefore, an equal stroke quantity can be obtained by about half length as compared with one in which one super-magnetostrictive member is used.
