PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a casing unit positively into an optional position of a track rail with small action force. SOLUTION: In this linear clamping unit, when an actuator 18 is put in a non-operating state, rollers 14, 15 arranged in an opening 13 of a retainer 11 are pressed to bite into a fittingly fixed part 30 between an inclined face 10 of a wedge member 9 and a side face 6 of a track rail 5 by the spring force of a spring 24 through a retainer 11, and a casing unit 1 is locked in one axial direction onto the track rail 5 by wedge action. When the actuator 18 is operated, the rollers 14, 15 are separated from the fittingly fixed part 30 by the function of the retainer 11, and a lock state is released. |
