YELLOW INK FOR RECORDING AND INK JET RECORDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink capable of obtaining a satisfactory yellow color excellent in color reproducibility properties and gradation sequence properties and affording an excellent color image with well balance on the whole by formulating multiple dyes to satisfy a specific condition. SOLUTION: This ink is obtained by mixing a first and a second dyes to have the transmitted color having hue angle H deg. of 95-98 deg. according to the L*a*b* color system observed in the condition; light source: D65,; field of view: 2 deg.,; transmitting optical path: 10mm which is observed on the sample obtained by dissolving the mixture of the first and the second dyes in 200 times of pure water or deionized water while dissolving the mixture in water or a mixture of water and an organic solvent. Preferably the first dye has transmitted color having the hue angle H deg. of 90-95 deg. observed in the same condition on the solution of 0.015wt.% concentration and the second dye has the hue angle H deg. of 98-105 deg. observed in the same condition.
