LIQUID DISCHARGE METHOD, LIQUID DISCHARGE HEAD USED IN SAID METHOD, AND CARTRIDGE USING SAID HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid discharge method which performs high speed liquid discharge by directing discharge pressure efficiently toward a discharge opening and a liquid discharge head to be used in the method. SOLUTION: In liquid discharge method in which a head which is arranged to face a bubble generation region 11 and has a movable member 31 having a free end on the downstream side of a liquid flow is used, the free end of the movable member 31 is displaced on the basis of pressure produced by the generation of bubbles in the region 11, and liquid is discharged from a discharge opening 18 by leading the pressure to the discharge opening 18 by the movable member 31, bubbles 40 generated in the region 11 are made to contact the movable member 31 at least in a partial period when the free end 31 of the movable member 31 returns from the maximum displacement state. For example, the movable member 31 is formed on a separation wall, and both surfaces of it are made to have different liquid-repellent properties.
