PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer clear characters and figures to a material to be transferred, although a copy image (characters, figures and the like) optimum as a transfer orginal picture is used for transfer. SOLUTION: A desired image A for transfer is copied on a release sheet 2 by a copier, and an image shape retention agent layer 3 is formed on the surface of a metal foil deposit layer 1c of a metal foil sheet 1 by an image shape retention agent, the solid content of which is composed of urethane resin and polyamide resin, and a solvent of them is parpared by toluene, isopropyl alcohol and cyclohexene as main components. The image A for transfer of the release sheet 2 is overlapped on the image shape retention agent layer 3 of the metal foil sheet 1 and pressure treated at 75 deg.C-110 deg.C to integrate the image A for transfer with the image shape retention agent layer 3. Then the release sheet 2 is released from the release layer and the image A for transfer is transferred to the side of the metal foil sheet 1, and the image shape retention agent 3 except the image A for transfer is removed from the upper face of the metal foil sheet 1 by an alcoholic solvent, and then the metal foil deposit layer 1c is etched, and an image for transfer of the metal foil is formed, while the metal foil deposit layer 1c and and an oily colored layer 1b of the image A for transfer are left as they are. |
