<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized sheet processing device by integrally joining an intermediate tray on which stapled sheets having been once discharged are stacked, and a discharged sheet tray which is provided right above the intermediate tray and on which sheets having not yet been stapled, with each other. SOLUTION: A tray assembly 24 which is extended upward in a direction opposite to a copying machine 100, is composed of an upper facsimile tray 14 and a lower intermediate tray 16 which are integrally joined with each other in the vicinity of their proximal end parts. A stack tray 20 which is laid right below the intermediate tray 16 under the tray assembly 24 is extended in the same direction as the extended direction of the tray assembly 24, having a small inclined angle. The angle of inclination of the intermediate tray 16 is set to a value by which a discharged sheet slides down by its dead weight on the intermediate tray 16 in the inclining direction thereof. Further, a staple unit 18 is arranged being adjacent to the intermediate tray 16 therebelow in the direction of the inclination thereof.</p> |
