发明名称 SLIP-OFF PROTECTION STRUCTURE OF PINION SHAFT
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the length of a pinion shaft and reduce the size in the direction of thickness of a ring gear, in the slip-off protection structure of the pinion shaft of a differential device arranged at a vehicle, such as an automobile. SOLUTION: In a differential device wherein a pinion shaft 5 is caused to span in a differential case 1 and two pinion gears 6 and 6 are supported on the pinion shaft 5 in such a state to be positioned facing each other, a spacer 13 is fitted in the outer periphery of the pinion shaft 5, and the spacer 13 and pinion shaft 5 are integrally intercoupled by means of a pin 16. Since the spacer 13 makes contact with one of the two pinion gears 6 and 6, the pinion shaft 5 is prevented from slip-off from the differential case 1.
