PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a gear to transmit driving force from an external part without increasing the number of part items and assembling manhours by integrally arranging the gear to transmit the driving force from an external part on a peripheral surface of a gear case cover. SOLUTION: A gear case cover 2 is fastened to a gear case 1 by screw-fitting a bolt 2d inserted into bolt inserting respective holes to a screw hole of the gear case 1. Driving force from an engine is transmitted to a helical gear 2b of the gear case cover 2, and the whole differential device can rotate around the axis of the gear case 1. That is, when the gear case 1 rotates by driving force transmitted to the helical gear 2b, a center plate 4 rotates integrally with the gear case 1, and this torque is transmitted to grooves 3b of respective disk plates 3 through balls 5 held on the center plate 4, and is transmitted to left and right driving shafts connected to the respective disk plates 3.
