<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint device without apprehension for leaking exhaust gas, in the joint device for an automobile exhaust pipe mutually connecting a pair of exhaust pipes juxtaposed and branch pipes of a forked exhaust pipe, having a pair of the branch pipes connected to each other, in order to prevent vibration on a manifold side from being transmitted to a muffler side. SOLUTION: In a joint device 1 for an automobile exhaust pipe, a pair of juxtaposed exhaust pipes 2, 3 and branch pipes 4, 5 of a forked exhaust pipe 6 having a pair of the mutually connected branch pipes 4, 5 are connected to each other. The joint device 1 has a spherical joint 7 connecting the one branch pipe 4 of the forked exhaust pipe 6 arranged corresponding to the exhaust pipe 2 and a flexible extensible/contractible joint 8 connecting the other branch pipe 5 arranged corresponding to the exhaust pipe 3 to the exhaust pipe 3.</p> |
