发明名称 METHOD FOR CENTRIFUGALLY SEPARATING LIQUID AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a sample within a short time with high efficiency by housing a liquid in a rotor and rotating this rotor at a specific rotational speed by an ultrahigh speed rotary drive apparatus to apply specific acceleration to the rotor. SOLUTION: A cylindrical chamber 140 as a vacuum sealable rotary chamber is formed and a sample to be separated is inserted in a sample insertion hole provided to a rotor 160 housed in the rotary chamber to be set. After setting, the rotor 160 is rotated at an ultrahigh speed of at least 150000rpm by an ultrahigh speed motor 100 and, by centrifugal force generated by this rotation, centrifugal acceleration of at least 900000G is applied to the rotor to separate the sample. A bowl 135 is arranged in the chamber 140 so as to surround the rotor 160 and a heat exchanger composed or a thermo-module 143 is provided between the bowl 135 and a plate 141 and the supply of a current to the thermo- module 143 is controlled to perform the cooling/heating of the bowl and the rotor 160 is always held to predetermined temp.
