PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a freezer oil composition not causing a clogging phenomenon even in using it together with a hydrofluorocarbon coolant, capable of maintaining the returning of the oil into a freezer compressor by using a mixture of a polyol ester oil and a specific non-polyol ester oil as a base oil. SOLUTION: This freezer oil is constituted by using a mixture of (A) 5-30 pts.wt. non-polyol ester oil such as a naphthene-based mineral oil, a paraffinic mineral oil, a poly α-olefin and an alkylbenzene (e.g. having <=20 CST dynamic viscosity at 40 deg.C) and (B) 70-95 pts.wt. polyol ester such as trimethylolpropane caprylate, pentaerythritol 2-ethylhexanoate, pentaerythritol pelargonate, as a base oil. |
