PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a clearance from being produced between pipe ends by providing a socket on the end of the pipe, inserting a seal ring into the socket, and providing a cutout part through which a connecting jig can be inserted on the seal ring. SOLUTION: The end of a plate-like connecting jig 3 is inserted into a cutout part R3 of a seal ring R2 provided in a socket 51 of the other pipe 5 in which an inserting port of a pipe 2 is inserted, and the end of the plate-like connecting jig 3 is inserted into a cutout part R3 of a seal, ring R2 provided in a socket 41 of the other pipe 4. After the inserting port of the other pipe 4 is inserted into and connected to a socket 21 of the pipe 2, the connecting jig 3 is removed by being lifted from the cutout part R3 of the seal ring R2, filler 6 is filled in the cutout part R3 after removing, and therefore, the front surface of the seal ring R2 is smoothed. |
