TIP FOR CLEANING TOOTH SURFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip for cleaning the tooth surface capable of polishing the tooth surface without damaging the tooth surface. SOLUTION: A known ultrasonic vibrator transducer is built in a handpiece 10 and the tip 1 is so formed as to be connected preferably by a screwing system onto a vibrating shaft of the ultrasonic vibrator transducer. At least the part of the tip 1 which comes into contact with the tooth surface is formed of a resin so that the tooth surface is not damaged even if the tip rubs the tooth surface by coming into contact therewith. The front end of the tip 1 is, therefore, formed of a resin member 2. The front end of the resin member or the part near the front end is brought into contact with the tooth surface and is ultrasonically vibrated by the ultrasonic vibrator transducer in the handpiece 10.
