PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct operation under the state, in which the sheathing effect of a facing surface is obtained, by composing a cutter head for a tunnel excavator of an open-close section with a guide section brought to a freely open-close state to the rear side and connected to an outer circumferential section through a hinge. SOLUTION: A cutter head 3 is rotated and driven by a head driving unit, and a front body is propelled and a tunnel is excavated. When a bedrock must be treated, a wedge member detachably interposed between an open-close section 33 and an outer circumferential section 34 is removed, and the open-close section 33 is opened to the rear side and operation is conducted. The tunnel is constructed, a main beam and a bulk head and a shield shell are taken away and carried out successively, and the cutter head 3 is also divided into the open-close section 33 and the outer circumferential section 34 and disassembled and conveyed out. Accordingly, operation can be performed easily and smoothly in the high degree of freedom. |
