PREPARATION OF TRANSGENIC ANIMAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently prepare a transgenic animal by infecting an animal's fertilized egg deprived of egg membrane with non-proliferation-type recombinant adenovirus transduced with an extraneous gene followed by transplanting the uterus of the parent animal with the resultant embryo. SOLUTION: This transgenic animal is prepared by infecting an animal's fertilized egg deprived of egg membrane with non-proliferation-type recombinant adenovirus (with a dose at pref. 5×10<7> to 10<8> pfu/ml) such as that manifesting under control by a CAG promoter) transduced with an extraneous gene as a nucleotide having a base sequence coding for physiologically active proteins, antibodies, chromogenic proteins as marker genes, or drug-resistant proteins as marker genes, followed by transplanting the uterus of the parent animal with the resultant embryo.
