The present invention discloses a sealer for expansion joints, comprising an elongated tubular body of elastomeric material presenting a fastening portion (10) to be inserted and attached to joint aperture (2) interior, and an elongated head portion (20) with its base (21) placed and attached in corresponding groove (3) of concrete structure (1); head portion (20) has its encircling wall provided with an orifice plurality longitudinally passing (25), receiving each one of said longitudinal orifices (25) a respective steel cable (40) with ends projected from concrete structure (1).
