The present invention refers to an improved wall contact for the protection of electric and electronic apparatuses. This protecting device works by breaking power flow when the electric current which it conducts exceeds preset limits. The object of the present invention is to provide a type of wall contact totally different from those currently available in the market, due to its internal construction, the main characteristic of which is to provide protection to electric and electronic apparatuses, by a protection device which is integral with the contact.
