<p>In a process and its apparatus for the metering and decanting of quantities of bulk material, especially of ground coffee, into packaging containers, preferably bags (10), not only the filling weight of the bulk material, but also its filling height (H) in the bags (10), is regulated. This is carried out by measuring the filling height (H) by means of a filling-height sensor (60) and by feeding it to a regulating device (20). By means of a comparison between the measured filling height (H) and the desired filling height, the regulating device (20) controls a compacting device (49) which is assigned to the metering device (30, 31) for the bulk material. The bulk material is thereby compacted specifically in relation to the filling height, so that packs of an identical filling height (H) are always produced. <IMAGE></p> |
