The bolt (V) is positioned inside a hollow (L) in the leg (A) of the furniture. It is off centre and has teeth on it which engage with corresponding teeth in the hollow to allow it only to turn clockwise. The frame of the furniture (D) is slid under the bolt and when it is in position the bolt is turned. It is tightened until its head holds the frame and prevents it rocking.
