<p>A mortar-filled reinforcing joint (1) comprising a tubular sleeve (2) provided at both ends (3) thereof with openings (4), into which reinforcing bars (15) are inserted, and annular seals (10) mounted in the respective openings (4). The tubular sleeve is provided at a tubular portion thereof with filling ports (5), through which mortar (16) is injected. The annular seals (10) comprise a central hole (17), into which the reinforcing bars (15) are slidably fitted. The seals (10) have a tapered outer surface (11) so that they can fit into inwardly tapered holes (9) which are formed in the ends (3) of the tubular sleeve (2).</p> |
