<p>A method for purifying dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO), wherein the liquid DMSO with a low water content is contacted with an ion exchange resin in the form of -SO3H, and the liquid is separated from the resin. The resulting DMSO has an iron cation tracer element content of at most 1 ppb and an Na cation tracer element content of at most 2 ppb.</p> |
