Introduction aid (9) for stretching one end of a guide wire (15) and securing the guide wire (15) in a dispenser tube (11), which aid has an elongate hollow element open at both ends, with an essentially cylindrical section (1) and a conical section (2) which tapers towards the distal end (3), a U-shaped slit (5) extending in the longitudinal direction being present in the wall (4) of the hollow element so that a tongue (6) which can be pressed into the inside of the hollow element is formed between the legs of the U-shaped slit (5) open towards the distal end (3), characterized in that the essentially cylindrical section (1) has at the proximal end an undercut (8), and a connection element (10) for connecting this introduction aid to the dispenser tube (11), which element has a proximal connector (12) for fastening the distal end of the dispenser tube (11), a tubular distal connector (13) onto which the introduction aid (9) can be pushed with its cylindrical section (1) and remains displaceable in the longitudinal direction after connection has taken place, and a central piece (7) located between them and having an advancing surface (17), which is freely accessible from outside, for the guide wire (15), a retaining means (20) being present on the distal connector (13) and/or at the distal end of the central piece (7) and gripping the undercut (8) of the introduction aid (9) at maximum excursion in the distal direction of the introduction aid which has been fitted onto the distal connector (13) in order to limit the movement of the aid in the longitudinal direction. |
