An electrical coupling part comprising a conductive coupling member (8), an inner conductive layer (9) around the coupling member, an insulating layer (10) around the conductive sheath, and a resilient protective sleeve (11) comprising at least one cylindrical portion (12) adjacent to one end of the insulating layer and at least one tapering portion (13) adjacent to said cylindrical portion (12). Said tapering portion widens out as it extends away from said cylindrical portion (12), and the protective sleeve further comprises an aperture (16) located at the opposite end thereof from the insulating layer (10) and having a greater diameter than the cylindrical portion (12).
