<p>Elevatable drilling deck/moonpool hatch for a drilling vessel giving better space on the drilling deck and eases the work associated with the drilling operations. It is disclosed such an elevatable drilling deck/moonpool hatch for a drilling vessel (4) wherein such an elevatable drilling deck/moonpool hatch comprises a slidable middle part (1, 2) of the deck where said part (1, 2) is operated by hydraulical, mechanical or pneumatical supporting arms (11, 11'), wherein said arms (11, 11') operate over an area which at least corresponds in height to the thickness of the middle part of the deck (2) so that this part of the deck (2), when operated by the arms (11, 11'), may be lifted to clear the surrounding deck surface and thereby be pushed or pressed away from its resting position in the middle area of the deck, where the drilling deck/moonpool hatch rests on the deck construction at the end of rails (3) which run on the deck of the vessel.</p> |
