<p>A valve including a body (2) provided with two intersecting bores respectively defining a fluid flow channel (3) and a housing containing an actuating mechanism for actuating a needle (19) which has a tapered portion (28) at one end for engaging the fluid flow port of a seat between the first flow channel and a second flow channel. The needle (19) is secured to a coaxial sleeve (34) and the seat includes a cylindrical portion (31) arranged to be engageable with the sleeve (34) to provide automatic centring of the tapered portion (28) and maintain the coaxiality thereof. Said valve is particularly useful in chlorinators.</p> |
