Insert for connecting breathing mask to filters

The insert (2) is fitted to the breathing connection (1) of a breathing mask, in order to connect a filter to the latter. A first fastener (5) is arranged inside the insert, and a second fastener (3,4) is arranged between the insert and the breathing connection. The insert has a first identifying field (12) for the first fastener, and which is on a surface (11) which lies outside the breathing connection. The latter has a second identifying field (9) for the second fastener (3), and which is at least partly covered by the insert. The second fastener is designed to accept a further filter when the insert is taken out.
