Wire electrode for spark erosive cutting

The wire electrode is built up from a number of short sections of tube electrodes (2) which are strung on a core so that there are isolating spaces between the sections. The sections (2) are mounted on a core made from non-conducting material or on a wire which is covered with insulating material.
