The buoyant unburnt material is separated and fed as fuel to the coal dust furnace (4). The unburnt material is sucked up by the vacuum produced by the mill (2). The conveyor air is sucked from the atmosphere from the water surface of the wet ash removal unit and conveyed as a mixture of unburnt material and conveyor air into the suction side of the mill. Extra vacuum is produced. The mixture of unburnt material and conveyor air is conveyed into the flue gas back absorber, into the carbon chute or into a separate suction opening of the mill.
