Telephone answering machine with event reporter and repertory dialler

The answering machine includes a telephone interface circuit (20) for establishing a link with the network and converting digital signals into electronic audio tones. Event signals received through inputs (15) are registered by flip-flops (2a) which trigger a time recorder (26) for entries in an event table (29). The same microprocessor (21) incorporates in its memory (22) an event reporter (25) and tables (27,28) containing a telephone number and a message corresponding to each event input. The event register and table are reset only when a link has been established with the corresponding number and transmission of the message is completed.
