Spindle drive for vanes, especially on ventilation systems

The spindle drive has a threaded spindle (2) which is driven manually or by a motor, and which is mounted so that it is fixed axially. A nut (3) is guided so that it can move axially on the spindle but cannot rotate, and is connected to a driven element (7). The nut has a synthetic thread (41), which works together with the thread (21) on the spindle during normal operation. The latter thread is resistant to fire, and is preferably metallic, and the nut has an emergency component (5) which is resistant to fire, and which may be metallic, and which supports the driven element if the synthetic thread fails. The spindle has a synthetic thread which works together with a fire-resistant thread (51) on the nut during normal operation, and has a fire-resistant component which supports the driven element if the synthetic thread fails.
