Toner reclaiming system for electrophotographic unit

The electrophotographic unit has the excess toner passed into a reclaim reservoir. A simple timing control measures the total operating time elapsed since the reclaim reservoir was replaced. At a preset time a warning gives indication that the reservoir needs to be changed again. For multiple process drum machines, eg. colour machines, a common reclaim reservoir is used. The elapsed operating time is taken as the total time for all the units. The reservoir full warning is given when the operating switch is pressed, ie. when an operator is at the machine.
