Drying arrangement for refrigerant condenser of vehicle air conditioner

The arrangement has a finned flat-tube condenser block with a tubular manifold at each end. It forms an upper condenser section and a lower under-cooled section with separating walls between. The dryer is in the refrigerant circuit after the under-cooled section and is mounted beneath the block so that it is in the cooling air stream. The condenser (1) consists of a finned block (2) with flattened tubes (3), through which the refrigerant flows, connected to manifold tubes (5,6) and separated by a dividing wall (7). The first manifold (6) is connected at its upper end (9a) to the compressor through connection pieces (9,10). The other manifold (5) is connected at its lower end to a pipe (10) and the dryer (12) tube (11) which is parallel to the flat tubes (3). A tube (14), adjustably attached to the other end of the dryer connects (9b) to the connection to the compressor (9).
