<p>The valve has a non return valve (22) in its main passage between the compressed air inlet (12) and outlet (13). The non return valve prevents flow towards the inlet, and divides the passage into sections (27,28) subjected to inlet and outlet pressure. A vent passage (36) connected to the outlet section contains an automatic stop valve (38). The plug of the stop valve has opposite actuating surfaces, which are thrust by the inlet pressure into the shut position and by the outlet pressure into the open one. Thus the setting of the plug is dependent on the ratio between the inlet and outlet pressures. The actuating face subjected to the inlet pressure can be formed by the movable wall of a chamber connected by a control passage (58) to the main passage inlet section.</p> |
