The movable leaf of the glazing unit is built of frameless multiple glazing with foam glass in the spacer piece (5). A coloured metal holder frame (7) is joined to the building wall (8). A preferably wooden or plastic profiled section on the holder frame is fixed to the glazing unit as an extension of the spacer piece. Seals are positioned between the movable parts, preferably the panes of glass (2,3) and the immovable parts preferably the holder frame and the profiled section. A fold-away sun-shield (13) is fixed in the aperture in the building between the glazing and the outside (19).
