Fan type grinder for hand grinding machines

The narrow sides(6) of the grinding discs(4) are provided with a hardened binding agent(7) in the form of abrasive grain which when grinding acts upon the object being worked and reaches as far as the grinding face. The binding agent extends over the intermediate spaces between the narrow sides of the discs, and may extend over the whole circumferential face of the grinding disc. Several recesses(8) are provided on the circumference of the grind and reach as far as the grinding face.
