FIELD: printing. SUBSTANCE: base is supplied together with backup to operating position where backup having fragments for printing located one after another in direction of feed is provided with prints with their accurate conformity. Backup has, at least, two rows of fragments for printing located adjacent to one another across direction of feed, and base having, at least, one corresponding addition print in direction of feed between prints for fragment for printing located in row one after another. According to the invention, use is made of devices, with the help of which, only definite prints may correspondingly and selectively be transferred from base to backup in point of printing. After passage of printing point, base is separated from backup, and in conformity with the quantity of additional prints located between two prints for fragment for printing and arranged one after another in direction of feed, is supplied, at least, one more to printing operating position. In this case, base is shifted in side direction for transverse interval between adjacent fragments for printing and in direction of feed approximately, for distance between points followed by one another. EFFECT: higher efficiency. |
