PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve capacity efficiency and weight efficiency in a battery, equipped with a pressure equalizing device composed of an electrolyte receiver having a bellows type extensible part. SOLUTION: This battery is constituted so that a pressure equalizing device 6, composed of an electrolyte receiver having a bellows type extensible part 9, can be attached to a battery case 1 incorporated with a power generating element, and an electrolyte can be moved, between the insides of the pressure equalizing device and of the battery case, following the increase/decrease of external pressure. At that time, the electrolyte 8 is to be enclosed into the insides of the pressure equalizing device and of the battery, by pressure higher than fixed pressure, and also the bellows type extensible part 9 of the pressure equalizing device, into which the electrolyte is enclosed, is to be in a condition wherein the extensible part 9 is elongated than the own free length. |
