摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce computing quantity so as to realize a high-speed distance measurement by dividing the sensor data outputted from right and left optical sensors into a plurality of picture element areas respectively and computing the relationship of the folded data of the right and left sensors which are overlapped and added with each other so as to obtain a measuring value. SOLUTION: Right and left sensor units 1R and 1L are respectively provided with lenses 2R and 2L and two-dimensional optical sensors 3R and 3L, and convert the incident light quantity into electric signal every picture element. Fetching parts 4R and 4L of right and left sensor data fetch the electric signals generated respectively by the sensors 3R and 3L, and output them as right and left sensor data DR and DL. Folding parts 5R and 5L of right and left sensor data fold the data DR and DL in four, for example, overlap them and add to each other. Then, a relationship computing part 7 computes the relationship between the right and left folded data, and a computing part 8 for measured distance value computes a measured distance value according to the computed result.
