<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make connecting work easier for a power cable on site by energizing a flat plate member brought into contact with an end face of a premold insulating body by means of a spring thereby compressing both the ends of the premold insulating body. SOLUTION: A pipe 9 is fitted to the outer periphery of a conductive rubber 3, and lids 8 are screwed to pipe 9 at both the ends thereby forming a coupling portion 7. A screw 6 is screwed to the lid 8, the tip of the screw 6 is linked to one end of a spring 5, and another end of the screw 5 is linked to a flange 4. By pushing in the screw 6 by pushing in the spring 5 by rotation, both the ends of the conductive rubber 3 are pushed toward the center by the flange 4, but the swelling to the outer diameter side is restricted by the pipe 9, so that a cone portion 2' of an insulating cylinder 2 is pushed inwardly by the cone portion of a conductive rubber 3 and tightly contacted to insulating bodies 14a and 14b of cables 11a and 11b thereby realizing an insulating effect and preventing the ingress of water or the like. Therefore, the connecting works for the cable 11a and 11b on site can be performed easier.</p> |
