FIELD: plastic metal working. SUBSTANCE: initial blanks are used in form of remains after cutting sections into rods of cut length which are taken by sets comprising several pieces so that the total length of remaining cuts within each set exceeds the rod of cut length, at least, by the total allowance for welding of the required number of welded joints. Butt welding is carried out successively with several welds, flash is removed and cut to size of rod of cut length. EFFECT: maximum possible utilization of hot-rolled sections. 1 cl |
