A phosphor screen is provided, characterised in that said screen comprises at least one organozinc compound corresponding to the following general formula I: <IMAGE> I wherein: A=either carbon or phosphorus Y=-OR6, -NR7R8, alkyl or aryl, wherein R6, R7 and R8 each independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl- or aryl group, or wherein R7 and R8 together form a ringstructure n=1 when A is carbon n=2 when A is phosphorus.
