PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image developing device capable of preventing the increase of the charge voltage of a developer held on the periphery of a developing roller by removing the charge of the charged developer which remains on the periphery of the developing roller, without being transferred to an electrostatic latent image carrier in a developing area, every time. SOLUTION: The electrostatic latent image developing device is provided with the developing roller 40 disposed in a developing housing 30 and a developer regulating means 70 for regulating the quantity of the developer held on the periphery of the developing roller 40. At this time, an earth plate 80 which is arranged between the developing area and a developing holding area, comes into contact with both end parts in an axial direction of the periphery of the developing roller 40, in at least one end part and is attached to the developing housing 30 in the other end part is provided. |
