FIELD: aviation; protection of engines against foreign matter. SUBSTANCE: proposed device reduces intensity of vortex cores or fully excludes them at air intake inlet passage through removal of its lower edge from surface of air field by height Hwhich exceeds height H of location of lower panel of air intake passage from surface of air field by turning through angle of Φduring operation of power plant of flying vehicle on ground. Upper movable panel ensures preset inlet area lmoving in horizontal plane inside passage through distance of F=0.24 to 0.26 m. Innovation of invention consists: in availability of two movable panels of air intake passage; lower panel may incline upward through angle of Φ=15 to 20 deg; upper panel may move to the right inside air intake passage through distance l= 0.24 to 0.26 m, thus excluding vortex generation under air intake passage and consequently suction of foreign matter at preset inlet area Fin all modes of operation of engine on ground.
