<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accidental fall preventing safety device which is reliable and certainly prevents an accidental fall with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This safety device comprises a guide rail 10 which has guide holes 12 opened at a predetermined pitch and is fixed to steel towers of a power-transmission line or the like; a safety device body 16 which is engaged with the guide rail 10 and provided slidably in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 10; a roller 18 attached to the safety device body 16 and is resiliently engaged with each of the guide holes 12; and a brake lever 20 attached to the safety device body 16 so as to be rocked. An end of the brake lever 20 is attached to the guide rail 10 so as to be pressed against the guide rail 10 and a safety rope 40 is attached to the other end. When the safety rope 40 is pulled to the down side of the guide rail 10, the end of the brake lever 20 is strongly pressed against the guide rail 10 and is rocked.</p> |
