<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely perform inserting and integrating, by arranging a face insert into a dent formed open on a face of a head main body and fastening the face insert by biting a high pressure processed rib shaped protrusion into a groove dent. SOLUTION: This golf club main body 2 and a face insert 3 are formed with different metals and the face insert 3 is forcibly inserted into a dent 4 formed open on a face 2A of the head main body 2. Pre-molded rib shaped protrusions 4b are formed on at least three directions on the bottom face part 4a of the dent 4 of the head main body 2, a groove dent is formed on a position corresponding to a rib shaped protrusion 4b on the lower face part 3a of the face insert 3, and under-cut parts 4d are formed on at least two directions on the inner wall bottom face part of the dent 4 of the head main body 2. Each of the rib shaped protrusion part 4b, the groove dent, and the under-cut parts 4d is forcibly inserted into the other member to fasten the face insert 3 to the head main body 2.</p> |
