PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image developing device capable of setting the carrying quantity of a thin layer of developer formed on the periphery of a developing roller within a specified range by setting the thickness of a blade constituting a developer regulating means and the width of a nip by the contact of the developing roller and a supplying roller with each other, within the specified range. SOLUTION: The device is provided with the developing roller 40 disposed in a developing housing 30, the supplying roller 50 for supplying the developer to the developing roller 40 and the developer regulating means 70 for regulating the quantity of the developer held on the periphery of the developing roller 40. At this time, the blade 71 constituting the developer regulating means 70 has flexibility, the thickness of the blade 71 is set 0.1-2.0mm and the width of the nip by the contact of the developing roller 40 and the supplying roller 50 with each other is set 0.1-0.6. |
