PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of residual ink and to obtain a holder which can be attached easily to an ink cartridge and is easy of ink injection by using a porous membrane body of a material which swells when ink is injected. SOLUTION: Since PVA sponge 11 attached to an ink cartridge 13 swells when ink is injected and contacts the inner wall of the cartridge closely, it can be set to the cartridge 13 easily. Because of the uniform pore density in each part of the sponge 11, the mobility of ink can be improved, and when the cartridge is used up, the amount of residual ink can be reduced. Especially, since the sponge 11 is formed from polyvinyl formal as a base material, and the pore diameter is controlled to be 100-650μm, the mobility and holding power of ink can be kept stable so that the PVA sponge of high reliability can be provided. |
