PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect flaw of a member having an edge significantly larger than the radius of curvature of an eddy current flaw detection probe using a single probe. SOLUTION: An edge outline 10 of a member 12 includes a first part rotary surface 20 around a first reference axis 22 and a second part rotary surface 24 around a second reference axis 26. The first reference axis 22 is parallel with the second reference axis 26 and spaced apart therefrom by a reference distance 28. Minimum distance between the first reference axis 22 and the first surface 20 limits a first minimum distance 30 while the minimum distance between the second reference axis 26 and the second surface 24 limits a second minimum distance 32 where the total sum of first and second minimum distances 30, 32 is longer than a reference distance 28.
