<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the detector precluding the possibility of erroneous decision due to a change in a luminance of an image being an image pickup object or its radiation luminous quantity or the like. SOLUTION: The detector is provided with a difference data generating means 3a, 3b to obtain difference data corresponding to a difference between both levels of video signals relating to proximity pixels representing the gradation of the levels, a detection means 5 to obtain a detection output based on comparison of the difference data at both points of time at an interval of one frame period, and a desision means 6 to obtain a dicision output representing a motion of an object relating to the video signals depending on the output of the detection means. The detection means 5 produces a detection output when the gradation of the video signal level represented by both the difference data at both the points of time is inverse as to the difference data of the both.</p> |
